What makes us unique...

Kamath Institute of Technology (KIT) was established in the year 2007 under Sri Mookambika Education and Service Trust (R).  An institution built with sentiments (making it more than a college), KIT has the ability to provide students with a progressive technological education so that they can contribute to the world as leaders and responsible citizens. This is what we seek at KIT, and this is what makes us unique!

Teaching Methodology

At Kamath Institute of Technology, we believe in making learning fun by not confining classroom discussions to just textbooks or lectures. Each semester begins with an orientation program that gives new students a chance to meet other classmates as well as faculty members; staff and experience some hands-on activities during interactive sessions in laboratories. Interaction between professors and students is another hallmark of our academic culture.

You’ll get regular feedback from teachers on the things you do well, as well as areas where you need to improve. You’ll have opportunities to get hands-on experience through assignments and project work where you will be working in teams. We give you a solid foundation in basic sciences, mathematics, engineering fundamentals and general education courses. It’s supported by real-world projects and lab assignments that test your ability to apply what you’ve learned – it’s not just about passing exams! The final component is your capstone design course where you work with faculty members on solving real-world problems.
